I have to disagree. A flex section, over time, will break apart and we don't want any of that going into the turbo. I would never buy an up pipe with a flex joint. I think a majority of the leaks are caused by uneven flanges. That's my .02. I don't think a flex pipe is necessary in the rest of the exhaust either.
