Injecting air was the ticket!! I also designed system to be scalable. Added another 295gpm pump for a total of 600gpm under gravel.its still gentle enough it doesn't move the gravel but I discovered pulsing air into the system lifts junk off the bottom extreamly well, so Ive installed a timer and am now pulsing air every 4 hours for an hour.
