That looks cool Kevo. I will try that out. I tend to loose string dampers frequently due to the way I hit with pace and topspin. String dampers will always pop right out and end up loosing them. The rubberband dampers stay on more securely. I'll give your method a try to see if it will pop out compared to the traditional rubberband damper method.

I've been using a rubberband since I first saw Andre using it way back in 1989. They did a Sports Illustrated piece on him, and in that piece they showed his first Donnay Pro One with the rubberband. I've NEVER shyed away since. And I'm constantly promoting it that it works just as well as any other vibration dampener. I love it!

Anyone else out there like to use a rubberband? I'm not really into exspensive vibration dampeners. Some are easily lost or they break (like the Gamma worms). Some take too much feel away from the racquet too. In my opinion, a rubberband softens up the racquet just enough and still gives you plenty of feel. I use semi-medium sized rubber bands.

Well the rain finally let up here in Ohio. Went out and bought a bag of #64 rubberbands. They are narrower than the OTZ vibration dampeners. i weave the rubberband on 6 mains, just like the worm dampeners, i like it better like that, more sound dampening IMO you can have rubberbands on all 4 sides of the racquet as long as you do not enter the crossed section of the strings, see if that dampens the vibration enough to notise
